[health] Some food you should avoid putting in the refrigerator
The world is getting digital day in and day out. Everything is evolving in the electrical lifestyle. One unimpressing trend going on in the world about technology is on the usage of refrigerators.
Many people have taken the refridgerator for granted. Well today i'ld want to share with you guys some of those food materials that we should not be kept in the refrigerator.
Tomatoes
The cold air in the fridge stops the ripening process, and ripening is what gives tomatoes the extra essential flavour. Tomatoes will therefore lose all their flavours in the fridge and their texture will also be altered.
Potatoes
Keeping a potato in the fridge will turn its starch into sugar more quickly, so that you’ll be left with a sweet, gritty potato. Instead of putting potatoes in the fridge, store them in a paper bag in a cool, not cold place.
Onions
Much like tomatoes, onions tends to become incredibly mushy or moldy if left in the fridge for too long. If you put onions in the fridge, the moisture will eventually turn them soft.
Bananas
If you put green bananas in the fridge, its going to stay green. On the other hand, if you have ripe bananas that are ready to be eaten, but no plans to do so, and you put them in your fridge. The skin may turn black or brown, but the fruit inside will remain perfect.
Avocados
If you want avocados to ripen, definitely don’t put them in the refrigerator. Putting the avocado in the fridge will just completely stop it from ripening–much like the banana, it practically freezes in time.
Water Melon Fruit
It’s mostly advised to store any melon fruit in the fridge once it’s been cut open; however, until then, you should leave the fruit outside the fridge.
Garlic
Eventually, garlic will start to sprout in the fridge. Garlic likes to go off pretty quickly in the fridge, it’ll grow mold and go rubbery-soft when put into the fridge. You should instead keep garlic in a cool, dry place.
Bread
You refrigerator will dry out your bread quickly. The only time you should refrigerate bread is when it is in sandwich form, as it likes to go incredibly tough and chewy in the cold temperature.
Honey in Jars
Keeping honey in the fridge will increase the speed of the sugar crystallization which turns it into an almost dough-like form. There’s no need to store honey in the fridge as it will stay good basically forever if you simply keep it tightly sealed.
