Disadvantages of using a medicated glasses

Many people, even most of my fans do not know i am myopia, yea i'm short sighted. Well i inherited mine, from my mother side. But one thing about me is tht i don't wear glasses.Yea i don't wear glasses. I've got my fans and friends advising me on the need to use glasses but, i'm kinda shy. There are certain set backs with those using glasses, of which i'd like to share with you guys.SPORTING DRAWBACK: If you think Guchio Austine Ronadinho, Eden Hazard, leonel Messi are the most creative footballers then you've never seen Jason play. Jason is my friend, but with my eyesight he had to cool down on my football career. Because in his secondary school days he rarely got chosen in teams.ROMANTIC DRAWBACKS: There was a time my friend, david had a momment with his chic, just as he was coming in for his frech kiss, his glass made him feel somewhat akward. His momment was gone. At times i heard girls say about my 'glass wearing' friends that, he is cute but not man enough; just because they are on glasses.DOMESTIC / EVERYDAY CHALLENGES: I once tried wearing a pair of spectacles th'o not medicated. I found out i can't fall asleep swiftly without looking for a means to drop my glasses somewhere. I asked my friend and he said, "if I use contact lens, my sparkling eyes turn red the next day; if it's raining, my glasses becomes completely misty and unlike windshields, spectacles don't come with wipers".MISCELLAENOUS: Job opportunities-David's Uncle studied civil engineer but he had fewer opportunities to prove himself as a good site engineer due to stereotypes.Intimidation-Akin and i were taking a stroll towards the Ajangbadi/Ilogbo road when this guy cameup to us and tried estorting money from us. Th'o i was getting some apples from the seller so i didn't pay much attention to him, he kept intimidating Akin, because he was on glasses. It later resulted in a fight with Akin, well akin broke the guy's nose and proved his strenght.Fans, please is there any sort cure for shortsightedness? I heard of many side-effects in relation to the laser option. Incase there is none, guess i might just borne it and get a glass once i'm done with my Post Utme.
