How to know if you are prone to future diabetes
Apart from the other "Effects of Diabetics"—read now, untreated or uncontrolled diabetes can cause diabetic acidosis.
Diabetic Acidosis is the condition where ketones accumulate in the body. When the body cells fail to absorb and utilize glucose, they turn to fats for deriving energy. The breakdown of fats generates ketones as by-products. The accumulation of a large amount of ketones (the waste product of the fat) can increase the acidity of blood and the tissues.
This can lead to serious complications, if not treated immediately. The treatment of diabetes includes both medications and lifestyle modifications. Effective management of diabetes is possible only when medications are combined with a proper diet, weight management, and regular exercise or physical activity.

Just Like cancer, and some other diseases, Diabetes has no definite cure or curse. Some say too much sugar intake causes it, why not take any sugar for a month and see if you'ld have any energy. According to my teacher, Mr. Okoro (rip), "Even if one eats a bag of sugar daily, as long as his Insulin and Glucagon is working fine, Diabetes would not come."
One who would have diabetes would have it, no two ways about it. It is the early detection that matters. "you can detect if a child is prone to diabetes in the future even at the tender age" says Mr. Okoro (rip). Other than going to hospitals and burning money for tests, you could simply check for yourself which of your child, or even you (a young person), is prone to diabetes in the future.
How do I Take the Test.
Just in the Open, Let the person to be tested urinate on the ground. Now don't so much worry about the color. Just stay around the Urine and watch out for one of these two things. One, the urine later becomes sticky or thick with little or no water in 'em. Two, ants come to eat something from the urine.
What does the signs mean?
The color of the urine is in proportion to its content. When there is more salts and other minerals in the urine it tends to have a yellowish color, than when it is almost pure. The urine might go think because, the water dries off and only the minerals remain,(it is now a solution). Ants might come to eat out of the liquid urine. Because the liquid urine contains glucose (sugar), Amino Acids, and other nutrents which were not filtered by the glomerulus.
So once one of these happens from your test, the tested person is prone to future diabetes and you should start on time to keep his blood sugar low. Keeping his blood sugar low mean his disease would not be so effective, you could see a doctor on that.
