Place the moist tea bags on each eyelid and relax for ten minutes. The soothing properties of green tea will cool the irritated eyes and reduce the redness. Drink three cups of green tea daily and every time you make the tea, use the teabags for placing on your eyelids.

Cold Compress— Take a basin of chilled water and dip two big and soft handkerchiefs into it. Squeeze out the excess water and fold the handkerchiefs into a square and place them on each eyelid. Repeat this process for five minutes three times daily.
The chillness will constrict the dilated blood vessels and will soothe the irritated eyes. It will also alleviate the pain and itching and reduce the burning sensation.

Carrot Juice— Drink two or three glasses of fresh carrot juice daily. Carrots are full of essential nutrients like vitamin A and beta-carotene which are crucial for maintaining eye health and good vision. Carrots also have powerful antioxidant properties which get rid of all the harmful free radicals and detoxify the body. The juice cools and refreshes the body as well as the eyes.
water
Water— To reduce eye redness, splash water on your face and eyes when you wake up in the morning. Splash every few hours to bring relief in the itching and burning. Water will also help to flush out the impurities and infection causing germs and reduce the itching and puffiness.
milk
Milk— Dip two cotton balls into some cold milk and spread them over your eyelids. Rub them gently over the eyelids for a couple of minutes. Your eyes will feel soothed and you will get respite from the itching.
